Playing, relaxing and using English on English Fun Day!
On English Fun Day, 4A students spread their mats, shared snacks and enjoyed a class picnic under the open sky. They played ball games and ran around on the grass, while others chose quiet time to read, chat and enjoy the beautiful views. Fun leisure activities included playing volleyball, playing Frisbee, and doing group meditation!
Learning by doing
Throughout the day, students naturally used the leisure vocabulary and sentence patterns from English lessons to talk about what they did with their friends. From this experience, English learning indeed jumped out of the book and into their real lives, realizing learning by doing, and doing while learning.
Little authors of Class 4A
Back at school, everyone became a “little book author” and turned their favourite moments into a short book about the day. Their stories were full of real experiences, joyful feelings and confident English usage --- we are so proud of Class 4A and their lovely books!
