Using different modes of transport is a big part of life in the city. We need to learn how to use the various types of transport, and the best way to learn is by doing!
On 27th November, P.2 students travelled around Kam Tin in small groups. They visited different places, such as the bus stop, minibus stop, and taxi rank. They also observed the vehicles on the road.
Then, we took the MTR to Yuen Long for ice cream at McDonald’s. While enjoying McDonald’s, the students played games to create riddles about transport in English. The students also tried the Light Rail in Yuen Long !
Finally, we returned to school by bus. The students were amazed to discover that they could get a discount by tapping their Octopus card again!
Now, the students are very familiar with the transport in our area. It’s a great way to feel connected to our city!
